Cookie policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

This cookie policy explains how UpskillUni (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar storage on upskilluni.com (the “Site”). It should be read with our privacy policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar browser storage (such as localStorage) for some preferences. Cookies help the Site work, keep you signed in, remember your basket, and (only if you agree) support analytics and marketing.

2. How we ask for consent

When you first visit, we show a cookie banner. You can Accept all, Reject all non-essential cookies, or Manage your choices. You can reopen the banner anytime via Cookie preferences in the footer. Your choice is remembered in your browser.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Site to function. They do not need consent under UK/EU rules. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the Site will stop working (for example sign-in and checkout).

When you pay for a course, our payment partner (Stripe) may set cookies or similar technologies to prevent fraud and complete checkout. Provider websites you visit after leaving UpskillUni may set their own cookies under their policies.

6. Managing cookies

  • Use Cookie preferences on the Site to change optional settings.
  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Guidance is available from your browser vendor.
  • Clearing cookies may sign you out and empty your basket or saved lists for guests.

7. Updates

We may update this policy when we change how cookies are used. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
