These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply when you use the UpskillUni website and services at upskilluni.com (the “Site”), operated by UpskillUni (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. About UpskillUni
UpskillUni is a marketplace that helps learners discover, compare and sign up for courses, training and qualifications offered by independent course providers (“Providers”). We are not the course provider unless we say so on a specific product page. Your contract for course delivery is with the relevant Provider.
2. Using the Site
You must use the Site lawfully and not misuse it (for example by attempting unauthorised access, scraping at scale, or posting misleading reviews). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or harm other users or Providers.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. Providers must give accurate organisation details; we may verify Providers before courses go live.
4. Enquiries and “Request more details”
When you submit an enquiry, we share the details you provide with the relevant Provider so they can respond. Providers handle enquiry data under their own privacy notices and terms, as well as any agreement they have with us.
5. Purchases and payments
- Prices, availability and course descriptions are set by Providers. Tax and currency display follow the checkout summary shown to you.
- Online card payments are processed by our payment partner (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Refund and cancellation rights depend on the Provider’s policy and applicable law. Where we advertise a money-back guarantee on a course, the terms shown on that course page apply.
- Discount codes are subject to the rules shown at checkout (for example one code per order; not valid on enquiry-only courses unless stated).
6. Provider listings
We review Provider applications and course listings but do not guarantee every statement a Provider makes. If you believe a listing is inaccurate or misleading, please contact us or use the report tools on the course page.
7. Reviews and user content
Reviews and questions must be honest and relevant. We may moderate, edit or remove content that is abusive, promotional spam, or otherwise inappropriate. By posting content you grant us a licence to display and use it on the Site in connection with the service.
8. Intellectual property
The UpskillUni name, logo, Site design and our content are protected. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission. Course materials belong to Providers or their licensors.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of Providers. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us for the order in question in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (or local equivalent), except where a higher minimum is required by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
